Angelo's Pizza Parlor

We stopped in Angelo's on the final leg of a very long road trip. The service was extremely friendly, the kids loved making their own pizzas, and all of our food was tasty. Most amazing part of our experience was our 10-year-old left his brand new souvenir hat in the restroom. We called when we discovered it missing and asked if they would send it to us. The nice woman on the phone took my information and told me the owner would call back the following day. When I hadn't heard I decided I'd give them another call. I didn't have time because the hat showed up in our mail that day! Needless to say, our son was ecstatic and it restored our faith in community. Thanks to all of you at Angelo's and we'll be back any time we're in Pueblo!

"20 minutes no service"-Months ago I brought my mother and grandmother. We were dressed nice for a night out and we were treated wonderfully. Great dining experience. Well today I walked my dog down to the riverwalk for a slice and a beer...Very different treatment. I stood at the "wait here" sign for a couple minutes, no hostess. I then seated myself. The hostess then comes outside, checks on all the tables without acknowledging me or even so much as looking my way, and then proceeds to go back inside. It's been a few minutes since arriving. She then comes out a second time and says "Where did you come from? You're supposed to wait for the hostess. This is not the dog area can you move?" I shrugged it off, asked for a menu and a water, and moved to the dog area. The table I moved to had ice cream on the ground. 5 minutes go by, no water or menu. Then another waitress comes over to help me. Same request, I ask for a water, a menu, a beer, and the ice cream to be cleaned up. Minutes later the bus boy brings a water bowl for my dog and begins cleaning up the ice cream. Now the hostess comes back, no water or menu, and asks if I've been helped. I guess she forgot I asked for a menu and a water? Maybe this is her passive aggressive treatment because I seated myself? I bite my tongue and say yes. At this point I'm watching guests who've arrived after myself enjoying their drinks and reading over menus. Still more time passes. No water. No menu. No beer. It has now been 20 minutes (NO EXAGGERATION) since arriving and I decide enough is enough no more chances. As I'm leaving the patio the waitress is coming outside with the beer. Nothing said, no exchange. I am dumbfounded as to how my two experiences were on complete opposites of the spectrum.

Stopped in for lunch. Small wait (no one in front of us) at the front door. Seated and had drinks within 10 minutes. Food (three pizza and a stromboli) took an adequate amount of time to arrive at our table, but was fresh and hot. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Waitress was polite and efficient. We'd stop in again if we were back in town.

Great food for great price! An appetizer, Two full meals, three alcoholic beverages, and a desert for $50. Outside seating is great on a nice day...and their patio is pet friendly.

These people were so rude the second we came in. They told us we couldn't be sat on the river walk with multiple tables open. They wouldn't allow us to combine checks and had to pay separately. We weren't even directed to our seats. Would not recommend. Buy a digiorno for better pizza.
