This was my first review: "Variety of classes with friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere. Liked it so much I bought a membership after doing a trial membership for 10 days (only $20!). My yoga classes so far are Sunday evening's restorative yoga and Jamie's yoga classes. Only con is that their Fri-Sun schedule of classes is pretty sparse; haven't heard if that will change in the future but I hope so." and I gave it 4 stars

Myyy how times have changed :(. So disappointed with Just Breathe. I ended up signing up for a membership. Much like a cell phone contract, once I was on contract all hope of good customer service ended. Many of my favorite teachers left - I thought perhaps it was just a high turn over industry. Classes never did ramp up on the weekends; instead, additional classes were dropped during the week. The last straw was when I "paused" my membership during the holidays. After Christmas (2011) I logged back on to their site to see what yoga classes I would be able to attend only to find out they were closed until Jan 2nd or 3rd. A whole week where I would have attended classes but wasn't able to because they were closed (don't ask about whether or not they were willing to retroactive my monthly payment for the week they were completely closed). Looking at the classes for the week they WOULD be open, I was dismayed to find that classes were no longer being held at Just Breathe but at a gym located nearby. If I had wanted to take yoga at a gym I would have gotten a gym membership; I liked being able to relax in the calm that yoga studios provoke. Additionally, the schedule had changed AGAIN. As a newbie to yoga, I'm still taking basic yoga classes. When I first started with Just Breathe in spring 2011 they had enough variety of classes throughout the week that I was able to attend 5 of 7 days. On the new schedule there were only 3 days that basic classes were even offered. Thursday through Sunday there wasn't a single class at a basics level. I called to cancel my membership and was told I had to give a 30 day notice. Fine, my membership would end 30 days from my phone call. No, the way "it worked" was based on my sign up date and the date I payed my membership every month. He somehow had it figured out that I owed them at least 2 more months of membership payment before I could cancel my membership. I also was given a lecture on how I should at least try the new place out, and that change didn't have to be a bad thing, it is standard to change class schedules, etc. I was truly amazed at the incredible lack of customer service on the other end of the phone. Later I looked on yelp and there were numerous reviews complaining of pushy sales, contract issues, and trouble canceling memberships from Just Breathe. Perhaps I should have looked on yelp instead of google before buying the membership.

Have been to Just Breathe twice. the ambience of the place is soothing,. My first visit was to take a medidation class, which was very nice. The secod time I had a hot stone massage, and the therapist did a great job kneading away the many stress knots in my muscles. I'll go back again!
