Had dinner there the other night!!! Very nice place! Chicken Alfredo was good and the Mardi Gras dinner with the Alligator was tasty too. Omg my Margarita was the bomb. We had a really pretty and friendly waitress. We will visit again!

The food is so good BUT this place, claiming to be Cajun, lacks many of the staples associated with Cajun and Creole cooking: beniets, biscuits, shrimp and grits, chicory coffee. There are almost as many Mexican items on the menu as southern favorites. And the owner's bio reflects no connection to Creole cooking. But the Cajun items they do serve are AMAZING right down to the hot sauces that you won't need to make the dishes flavorful. I just wish the ambiance, music, and menu reflected the culture their claiming to serve up. Keep that in mind and you won't be disappointed.

Super super amazing veggie burger. The Cajun fries are the bomb. My only complaint was that the water/cup smelled and tasted funny. I asked for a new one but still came back with the same problem. Oh well! Still awesome!

So many vegetarian options. It makes date night amazing because there are always options for both of us. Patio seating is nice because of the awning. Nice selection of beer. I will be back!

My wife, friends and I went to Allyn's for dinner a month or two ago as a new experience. Last week and today I went with a business associate for lunch because we were working around the corner. Allyn's is a little known secret. It is way beyond fabulous. The food is very special and different from a mainstream restaurant. But, that I mean it is all healthy, beautifully prepared, served promptly, beyond delicious, and by a bunch of cute waitresses. I know that is politically incorrect, but I'm 68 and frankly I don't care. All in all, it is a 5 star restaurant in a little known location. If you have a chance, don't drive past without stopping in for an incredible meal.
