Best Western Hotel

My husband and I were traveling back home and needed a place to stay for just the night. I read the reviews for this hotel and almost didn't stop because of them. However we decided to take the chance because of the rate and are glad we did. The hotel was very clean, quiet with a friendly staff. The room we had was on the 4th floor and appeared to have been recently updated. There was a division between the bed and bath and the couch and work center with a refrigerator, microwave and additional small sink. The tv was centered between the 2 areas. The bed was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was as breakfast is in this type of hotel, basic. We would stay here again.

I enjoyed my stay at this location. Our suite room was large and open with great lighting. The room was clean as was the pool. The lobby looked fantastic and the workers were great and very helpful. Breakfast was fantastic (I am a huge fan of make your own waffle at hotels)!
The layout of the hotel rooms to the lobby was a little confusing but if you look at the map on your room door, you can figure it out.

Only 2 downsides. 1) the clock in the pool wasn't working and 2) the TV turned itself on in the middle of the night (but the volume was down so it didn't wake any of us up).

In my opinion, if those are the only complaints I can think of, it was a great place to stay!!

Arrived 90 minutes early hoping for an early check in as I have a 3pm meeting. After a 5hr drive it would have been nice to freshen up. I was told very bluntly that check in was 3pm and they did not do early checking. I do not feel entitled to this however this is the hospitality business. They spent no effort or energy to even see if one room was available. They offered me the lobby restroom to dress in. I habe done this same thing dozens of times and always at least had someone try to accommodate me. This time I was met with a total refusal to try and accommodate me.

We are evacuating FL due to hurricane Irma. This hotel is very very clean. We were accepted readily with our service dog. Front desk staff was extremely helpful. Definitely 5 stars. We will be highly recommending this hotel to others. THANK YOU!

EASY ACCESS FROM I-65 IN BIRMINGHAM. VERY NICE, CLEAN, WELL KEPT FACILITY. PARKING NEAR ENTRANCES WAS CONVENIENT WITH GOOD ACCESS TO ROOMS. LOBBY EXPERIENCE WAS QUICK AT CHECK-IN WITH A VERY PROFESSIONAL STAFF. QUIET ROOMS WITH NICE FURNISHINGS, AND THE BED WAS GREAT. INDOOR POOL AREA WELL KEPT WITH PLENTY OF CHAIRS AND TABLES. BREAKFAST WAS WELL PRESENTED WITH AN ABUNDANT SELECTION OF FOOD. WOULD DEFINITELY STAY THERE AGAIN. IN FACT, I RECOMMENDED THIS B/W+ TO MY DAUGHTER AND HER FAMILY FOR THEIR TRIPS FROM INDIANAPOLIS TO FLORIDA. (PS. I HAVE NO PERSONAL OR PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATION WITH BEST WESTERN). ENJOY YOUR STAY!
