We came here last night for a quick dessert after dinner. When we went in, we were asked to take a seat at any table and then 5 minutes later we were given menus. Kind of a weird set up for a candy shop - which is usually fast-casual, but we went with it. Soon, I realized she was the only one working that night, so I don't know if the poor service I am about to describe was a fluke. It was pretty busy too. There was a large group that had been there before us, then a few people at the bar area and a table of 3 girls behind us. After about 10-15 minutes, she took our orders. She went in the kitchen to make each individual dessert (still serving all the other customers who were there before us), one by one, taking about 10 minutes each. We watched a couple come in and leave after waiting 30 minutes with their order never being taken. Another couple came in shortly after and we warned them of the poor service and long wait, so they left. After an hour, we got frustrated and asked how much longer our food would take. She hastily lied: "5 minutes"... 20 minutes later she served the first person in our party and 30 minutes later we all had our food. We were in the Candy Bar for 90 minutes for a cupcake, 2 shakes, and 2 'cookie shots'. My shake was good and decently priced, but the service was dishonest and irresponsible. I feel bad that she was stuck working alone last night, but she should have warned us of the wait before wasting our time. I have to give her props though, she remained sweet and calm throughout the whole thing, as if there hadn't been a problem and thanked us for our patience.

It's an okay place, and the staff was kind, but it's a bit overpriced for the quality of dessert offered. I get the feeling the treats we're designed to be alcohol infused, so if you get one that's not (as I did), the flavour may be a bit off. I mean, almost $5 for a single cupcake, even after a discount? No thanks.

Three stars not because its a fabulous place but I've been here three times,paid for parking and all,and they never have the cookie shot glass, which is my main reason for the trip. Its delightfully decorated with great Caribbean music playing,just please stock up on your best seller!

Cute place but cupcakes weren't good at ALL ordered a red velvet it was moist but didn't taste like a red velvet cupcake. The cream cheese frosting wasn't good either. Won't be returning.

When I went in it wasn't that crowded. I visited on a Thursday in the afternoon. I ordered the red velvet waffle cone, and it was yummy!! If you are looking for something super sweet, I wouldn't recommend ordering this. However if you have a tamed sweet tooth, this is a great choice! I should have taken a pic of my ice cream.... The girl working that shift was lovely! She was very friendly and easy to talk to, and kept me company while I was munching. The atmosphere is very relaxed. I also love this place because it's owned by a black woman!! Gotta support my black owned businesses :)
