Raul, his mother, and Edgar are very kind and inviting. I stayed 2 nights with them, the first in a private room and the second in their dorm. We were originally booked for the main location but they overbooked the room. Luckily Raul’s mother walked us over to the ‘Freeborn Fragment’ location which turned out to be even better and more centrally located. They also rent bikes out which is a nice way to explore he city.

Cute little Hostel. I had a cold shower. Owner should clean the public rooms more intensively.

I loved my stay at Freeborn Hostel! The common spaces are cozy, the kitchen is well equipped, the garden beautiful, the beds very comfy. Raul was an amazing host, he created a very good atmosphere, and when I arrived he welcomed me with a shot of homemade palincă and an explanation of the most interesting things to see and do in the city. I only had two nights, but I would definitely love to go back and spend more days in beautiful Timisoara, knowing that there's such a good place to stay.

The best hostel in Timisoara. Best prices for the service you get. Very nice staff, too.

awesome staff, friendly atmosphere, central location, great place to meet other travelers. can't talk too loud in the patio after 11 because of neighbors though
