X Hostel Bucharest

Very bad experience. Cold. Woke up with the cleaning lady next to me, turning the lights on esrly in the morning, making a lot of noise, long before check out time. Communicated this to the staff and he did not care at all. Horrible staff. And management. Also kitchen closes very early. Quite dirty and nasty looking overall, the pictures are far from reality. Have I mentioned...Its cold, freezing there. Don't go!

I stayed at room 4/5 a few days but bed squeaked a lot so very difficult to sleep. I could not see any reason to pay 4 euro extra to take the 4p room. Mattress was litrally awful feeling like there was no springs inside, almost flat. Room rate was not cheap. Except shower room everything was not good.
Not recommended.

BED BUGS! Two people got them while I was there, and they were seen in three different beds. The staff reacted quickly and moved everyone, but be careful. Otherwise the kitchen was too small but the bar was big, though oddly there was never anyone at the bar.

Very friendly atmosphere, cheap prices, nice bar and garden. also interesting the Escape Room game as extra...

Nice hostel close to the old town of Bucharest. Had a really nice private room which had air conditioning and own bathroom. Not as much of a 'hostel atmosphere' as some hostels, but still a convenient and nice place to stay in Bucharest.
