We so wanted to like this place. Cool vibe, server and cocktails were top notch. The menu looked fantastic on paper but seriously disappointed in execution. Style over substance and almost $200 for two people. Be warned.

Everything about this place is incredible. The food is second to none. Get the Short Rib. It is by far the best piece of meat i have ever eaten in my entire life. No exaggeration !

The ambiance is amazing here. The furniture adds to the resilience as well. I liked the mussels and the watermelon salad. I also had champagne which was great. I didn't eat much, I was enjoying the ambiance.

We return every time we are in San Juan. During our six-day stay last year, we dined there twice. We stay at the Ritz Carlton, but make the short trip over to experience a truly wonderful meal with great service. The popcorn soup is a must. The fish (varies by day) over mofongo is fantastic. The chef is inventive, without being silly. We will be coming back next month (February) and I can't wait to make our reservations. BTW, the wine list is very reasonable and the Ribero del Duero is priced well.
