They were operating on a generator while the power was out from hurricane Maria. The room was very nice. No air conditioning so the room was warm but comfortable. We had a box fan for ventilation. I liked the overall decor. The rooftop was refreshing and had a nice breeze. The bar was open. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. I will likely return when the power is back to enjoy the full experience.

Nice hotel in a active part of town. Everything is within walking distance. The staff is prompt, courteous and knowledgable of restaurants in activities in the area. The neighborhood outside can get noisy at night but not unbearable. The elevator is sluggish.
I would definitely stay again.

The bed is so beautiful and comfortable. The rooftop baths are relaxing and wonderful. The staff could not be more helpful. The bathrooms...eh...but I don't care. I loved the location and everything about the hotel.

Amazing service! They went way out of their way to get me a chartered fishing trip for Tarpon, pointed me in the direction of one of the best bars I've ever been to, and went above and beyond to accomodate any questions I had. Awesome rooms clean and friendly atmosphere. Great rooftop to relax on with an amazing view. If I had more stars to give I would. 10/10 will stay here again!

The decor, service, and location at the heart of old San Juan were great! The bedding was also pretty good. We had a wonderful time staying here.

On the negative, the room was a bit small and only had a tiny window, which meant we had to keep the lights on whenever we were in the room and made us feel a bit claustrophobic.

The food downstairs was pretty good for a hotel, we enjoyed the French toast.

All in all, I think it's a great choice in the old town.
