Day 01
Activities: Arrival in Lhasa, pick up and transfer to hotel, rest at hotel

Day 02
Activities: Potala Palace & Jokhang Temple

Day 03
Activities: Train ride to Shigatse & Tashi Lhunpo Monastery
After breakfast, take the extended railway line of Qinghai-Tibet railway to Shigatse, the 2nd largest city of Tibet. The train runs at an average altitude of 3600-4000 meters,
through the valley of Yarlung Tsangpo River “Brahmaputra” that stretches as far as 145 kilometers, which presents the magnificent view of Yarlung Tsangpo River,
pastoral and farming scenery, in certain time of the year you can see farmers busy
with harvesting in their farmland. Arrive in Shigatse you will visit its main attraction
Tashilhunpo Monastery. Which is one of the 6 main monasteries of the Gyelug Sect
of Tibetan Buddhism and was founded in 1447 Tashilhunpo is a major pilgrimage
destination for Tibetans from across the plateau. There is an easy 1. 8 kilometer
pilgrimage circuit lined with prayer wheels that goes around the outside of the
monastery that is well worth for hiking. It offers great views of the monastery and of
the city of Shigatse. In the evening at 18:40pm, take train and return to Lhasa.

Day 04
Activities: Depart from Tibet
In the morning, we will transfer you to the airport/train station to depart from Tibet.
