A very interesting place to visit. We took the 30 minutes tour and it worth it. People are very kind and they answer all the questions with detail. We really enjoy our visit.

VERY interesting fort, well worth a visit. Staff are really knowledgeable about the fort and very friendly. They had an answer for every question that I threw at them. Really enjoyed having the opportunity to shoot a Martini Henry Mk 2 original rifle from 1878. Great value for the money.

Fort Rinella is a great place - not only thanks to 100-ton muzzle loaded cannon and almost fully automated fort with only 7 men needed to fire that cannon but above all - thanks to great staff, enthusiasts who work on restoring the fort and do really interesting bayonet weapon demonstration and amazing 2-hour guided tour featuring firing a rifle & a small cannon! It was so absorbing that my husband and I did not want to leave the place by 5 pm! The cost of the tour is 12 EUR only, so Fort Rinella is definitely worth visiting! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Fort Rinella is easy to get to by bus, takes about ten to fifteen minutes and you get the added benefit of the views. The Fort is an interesting part of the Maltese defense system and the Cannon/gun to me was worth the trip on it's own. Allow half an hour or so to wander round the Fort. There are friendly helpful staff there to show you round and answer any questions you may have. There is also a small cafe there should you feel the need.
