Rented bikes from this company and would not use them again-customer service was extremely poor from the outset with staff not showing any interest in ensuring customer satisfaction. One of the bikes we hired appeared to be rented unserviced with brake issues. This was particularly unsatisfactory given the steep Jersey gradients and the fact we had a baby in a bike seat on the back. The other bike seat for the toddler was missing safety straps for feet. When we pointed out these problems there was no attempt to resolve them. We used another bike hire company Jersey Bike Hire and they were fabulous particularly in relation to ensuring child safety.

Cheap equipment (the bike I hired for three days retails for only £290) that is poorly maintained (loose headset and very poor brakes). Not recommended for cycle hire.

Rented bikes, they were very poorly maintained and manager was very unhelpful. Would not use again. Between the two bikes we had a loose rear wheel, the other bike a badly out of line rear wheel which caused the gears to jump, a rear brake which didn't work even when the lever was to the handle bar. I was told I should have checked them, I suggested they needed maintaining and checking proper by a mechanic. I was told the mechanic was very busy. Pick a hire company that looks after its bikes and its customers better.

Rented three bikes for a few days, not too expensive, and the bikes were good. Jersey is perfect to explore by bike, so go do so! Remember it's illegal to bike on sidewalks though.
