Wonderful collection of art, ceramics, jewelry, religious texts and other artifacts, with explanations in Hebrew, Arabic and English. Be sure to sign up for the guided tour of the clocks exhibit.

I was attending a concert. The concert "hall" is not designed as one: Seats are uncomfortable, the seating arrangement does not allow good view of the stage. I am 6 ft. High was sitting in the 6th row, and still had difficulty to see the show. The sound is not bad. Otherwise the museum is nice and pleasant. The exhibits are nice. The staff is welcoming. It is just that it is not intended to host concert or other performances.

When going with young kids downloading the application to your smart phone and using it is a must if you get there at a time when guided tours are not available as we did, so make sure you get there with a full battery. You can visit the clocks and watches exhibition first (don't skip the short movie in there to get everyone in the mood) and then start the application and visit the different rooms following it. The application is a genius way to make the visit fun and educational for the kids! No cafeteria available so make sure you don't get there hungry or thirsty or in need for coffee like my husband was :) restrooms are clean. The invitation for the kids to make a drawing of their parents or each other on a dedicated board before you leave is also cool.

Unique museum in Jerusalem. An interesting display to learn about the art and culture in Islamic world.
Don't miss the marvelous gallery of the "stolen watches". True gems.
