Probably the most literal definition of a 4-star place I've ever been to. They do absolutely nothing badly, but they also do nothing exceptionally either.

Have spent a week here and ate dinner here twice. Is cosy and welcoming. Ate in the Brasserie part and had the Early Dinner Menu which is excellent value. The food is of very high quality and portions are the perfect size. The Bread Pot is worthy of mention on its own. We love it and would most definitely go back again. If you can plan ahead the Restaurant has a nice balcony that looks out over the Harbour.

One of my favourite places to eat. Consistently good quality and decent sized portions. Staff are always polite and attentive.
Food service is timely. Lavazza coffee served is perfect so credit to the barrista.
I would highly recommend this venue.

Christies is probably consistently the best cafe bar and restaurant in St Peter Port. It has sometimes wow'ed me but doesn't always. However, it has never ever disappointed. The service is good, way above the average on the island. Coffee is good, food is good and sometime excellent. I'd recommend the place to anyone.
