Hotel NH Collection Frankfurt City

As an attempt to use the underground floor sauna facilities offered by the hotel, I slipped on the floor of the room where sauna and steam bath facilities are being located. I ended up in the emergency hospital in Frankfurt where I was hospitalized for the next 24 hours, undergoing a series of X-rays and CT investigations for both my fractured arm and the skull, along with a painful intervention for aligning my wrist bones.
The accident happened on the premises of the NH Collection Frankfurt hotel, specifically on the ground floor in the area dedicated to sauna and steam bath facilities. This was caused by the lack of safety and security measures that the hotel should have had in place (no warning signs for slippery floor, inappropriate floor cover (linoleum), prone to accidents, for a space with a lot of running water and steam, no personnel and no surveillance cameras.
Here are just a few of the consequences of this accident: I had to undergo a surgery to fix the broken bones and realign the joints, a lot of continuous pain for 8 days, impairments - I cannot perform basic tasks like dressing/undressing, writing, eating, I cannot respond to my professional responsibilities and requirements, I need specialized assistance, etc.

The facts are that the accident happened in the hotel premises and, that makes the hotel liable for this accident, especially when the basic safety and security norms and standards were not in place. Moreover, the overall attitude and behaviour of the hotel staff and management showed they were not willing to assume the responsibility for what happened: upon leaving the hotel by ambulance, there was no concern from hotel management to follow up with what happened to its guests.
Avoid this hotel as they will not assume responsibility for whatever happens to you. Moreover, this is not a 4-start hotel, however they will charge you for everything as it is.

Great location. Several shops and restaurants are around. Train station is close by. Nice enough room. Internet can be unstable.

Good location in Frankfurt am. Rooms are nothing special and a little bit tight. AC sucks, it would be hell of we had came in the summer, it is the 20th of October and it is so hot inside the room. Fans only is what they call AC here. Bathroom is nice and the staff are nice too and they speak English.

Stayed two nights at the NH Collection of Frankfurt amd enjoyed a friendly helpful service, a clean and well set room, a free wifi, a good view and a suitable location. Sadly the bed was very hard while the pillow was very slim so me and my room mate woke up daily with severe muscular pains.

Nice place, close the city center and shopping area. Also well communicated with public transport and close river if you like running. Good option if you visit the city
