There was no another place to put this ultramodernistic piece of... glass in all the town? Impersonal, ugly building, in the line of N. Foster and other "geniuses" of architecture.

This is the last place anyone should visit in Nîmes there is little of interest on the two floors in fact in comparison the stairs in between are delightful.

While the building might look nice, both exhibitions were absolutely terrible. The permanent one (free of charge for everyone) is an collection of boredom causing paintings. The temporary exhibition was one of the worst displays of art I've ever witnessed. No wonder the horrid "Personal Cuts" didn't permit you to take photos (at least not with flash).
