The two stars is fir the location and views. The food was overpriced and bad. I had duck it may as well have been chicken . No flavor. Girlfriend was just as disappointed with her food.

The Tamarind house was built in a colonial building from 1909, a truly beautiful old house, one of the few remaining colonial houses actually! Nice atmosphere, friendly (and very attentive) waiters and exceptionally good food!

We went twice, as we loved the food that much. Clam chowder soup, garlic bread, brie baked with coconut flakes, coached catch of the day, tenderloin, lasagna, as well as the seafood pasta .... it was just wonderful altogether! Tipp for the ladies or just people with a "sweet-ish" craving: the pink moscato from Australia is delicious ;-)

Was recommended this place and did not disappoint at all totally beautiful food and genourous sizes and the waiter Reuben was absolutely amazing he is a real asset to the restaurant will not hesitate to recommend to others.

Best meal on island. Had seafood platter and AMAZING. Couldn't get through it all. Great service and toilets. Would be back if had time. Bus stops you just outside if you ask
